Position: Teacher, Early Childhood Special Education-ECSE- 3 y/o class (Janauary 2025)

Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
- Valid Texas Teacher's Certificate - Elementary Core (EC-6) and Special Education (EC-12)
- Alternative Certification Program applicants must have passed content exam(s) to be eligible for employment
Job Description:
- Provide students with appropriate learning activities, structure and experiences designed to fulfill their potential for intellectual, physical, social and emotional growth
- Prepare lessons that reflect strategies designed specifically for the academic, social and behavioral needs of students
- Work cooperatively with general education teachers to adjust behavioral approaches as needed for students to access the curriculum
- Provide direct instruction to support self-discipline and transition to the general education classroom with support from the ECSE teacher or paraprofessional
- Maintain open communication with campus administrators and district special programs staff
- Other duties required by campus/district supervisors reflective of district policies and procedures
Salary:
- $61,000 for beginning teacher with "0" years experience.
- $1,000 Master's Degree addenda
- Additional $1,000 Doctorate Degree addenda
- $3,000 Stipend - ECSE Teacher
Pay Grade: Certified Instructional, 10 Duty Months

The District contributes $400/month to the cost of employee only health insurance, which is $175/month greater than the state required amount of $225/month.
