Position: Substitute Teacher - Non-Certified

 

  

Job Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 60 hours of college credits
• College degree and teacher certification preferred

 

Job Description:

 

Ability and demonstrated aptitude in the instruction of students in assigned area. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Knowledge of general office equipment. Physically capable of meeting all performance responsibilities required with students, including stooping, bending and lifting.

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Replace the absent teacher in the instruction of students and management of classroom activities and administrative requirements. Assist in the implementation of classroom programs, including self-help, behavior management and instruction. Work under the general supervision of the principal or assistant principal.

• Substitute teacher positions are avaliable on an "as-needed" basis.

• Level 1 - $100.00/day (Beginning Level for all Substitutes)
• Level 2 - $125.00/day (Certified Teachers)
