Major Duties and Responsibilities:

 

LPISD Athletic Coaches Expectations

Coaches are to abide by the Texas High School Coaches Code of Ethics, all University Interscholastic League (UIL) Ethics and Rules, as well as the school district’s procedures and policies. Coaches are expected to be classroom teachers first and foremost, placing academics as our number one priority. Coaches are to be positive role models in action, dress and language. They are to be fair, honest, ethical and be team players, sharing athletes freely. They should stress integrity, discipline fairly, teach respect and good sportsmanship. Without exception, they should be positive leaders who teach athletes how to win humbly, lose graciously and be pro-active in community expectations to athletes and parents.

Other: 

The District contributes $400/month to the cost of employee only health insurance, which is $175/month greater than the state required amount of $225/month.
