Position: Special Education, ARD Facilitator
2023-2023 School Year
Prepare for, schedule and facilitate ARD meetings in accordance with federal, state and district policies and procedures. Support campus staff with knowledge of available programs and specialized services.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
- Valid Texas Teacher's Certificate in subject area assigned or willing to obtain
- Alternative Certification Program applicants must have passed content exam(s) to be eligible for employment
- Three years of teaching experience preferred
Job Description:
- Facilitate/participate in the Admission, Review and Dismissal (ARD) Committee regarding appropriate placement, and development of an Individual Education Plan (IEP) for students according to district policies and procedures
- Collaborate with the Diagnostician, LSSP and Related Services Personnel on providing special education services for students
- Compile, maintain, and oversee the filing of all reports, records and other documents required for campus facility files
- Other duties as assigned

The District contributes $400/month to the cost of employee only health insurance, which is $175/month greater than the state required amount of $225/month.
Salary:
- $60,000 for beginning teacher with "0" years experience
- $1,000 Master's Degree addenda
- Additional $1,000 Doctorate Degree addenda
Pay Grade: Certified Instructional, 10 Duty Months
