Position: Bus Monitor
Job Qualifications: Minimum of 18 years of age
Job Description:
Responsible for assisting challenging students being transported to and from school as well as performing related work activities in a safe-timely manner
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining, reading and understanding route sheets including time changes
- Exercising student management through correct use of communication and discipline
- Report discipline problems through proper school district procedures
- Assist in the inspection of each vehicle before and after each trip using correct procedures and completing proper district documents
Other Information: The district contributes $400/monthly to the cost of "employee-only" health insurance which is $175/monthly greater than the state required amount of $225/monthly
