Position:  Summer School Teacher (Credit Recovery), Secondary Grades 9-12 

Location:  La Porte High School

Dates:   June 1-23

Session Hours:   8:45 - 11:00 am and 11:30 am - 1:45 pm

Days:    Monday - Thursday

Staff Work/Prep Day:  Tuesday, May 31

Staff Hours:  8:00 am - 2:00 pm

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
• Valid Texas Teacher's Certificate 
• Knowledge of the Edgenuity online curriculum required

Job Description:

• Summer School Teacher, Secondary grades 9-12 
• Daily progress-monitoring through Edgenuity
• Student progress will be recorded and reported on a daily basis
• Parent communication of student participation and progress, as needed
