Position: Instructional Aide, Library

Location: Lomax Elementary 

Job Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid SBEC Educational Aide certificate
• Associate's Degree or 48 or more college hours or ParaEducator Certification issued by San Jacinto College or other local educational entity 

Special Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Proficient skills in the use of general office equipment and computers
• Knowledge of library science preferred

Experience:

• Two years of experience working with students preferred

The district contributes $400/monthly to the cost of "employee-only" health insurance which is $175/monthly greater than the state required amount of $225/monthly.

Pay Grade: Paraprofessional, Pay Grade 2, 187 Days

Minimum:  $11.80

Midpoint:   $14.22

Maximum: $16.64
