Position: Coordinator, Data Analytics for Student Achievement
Location: Central Administration
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Plan, develop, and coordinate research, analysis, measurement, and reporting of data and other critical information in order to provide high quality, well-focused support for the highest academic achievement priorities set by the district for the campuses. Provide direct support for the district’s COVID Recovery and Learning Acceleration Strategic Plan.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree in education or statistics related field from an accredited college or university required
- Master’s degree preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Proficient with school data software systems such as Eduphoria, OnPoint, eSchool, or other data reporting applications
- Knowledge and experience with the state testing program, accountability system, and Texas-specific data reporting requirements
- Ability to collect, analyze, and report/present data from multiple sources to make actionable, value-added plans that support student achievement
- Ability to provide professional learning opportunities to support data use for instructional decisions with all stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
Experience:
- Research and/or analytical experience required
- Experience in a K-12 classroom or in a school setting preferred
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Organize, manipulate, and summarize data in various formats for a variety of purposes and audiences.
- Produce clear, clean charts, graphs, and other data representations for visual storytelling.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis on RSSP (Resilient Student Support Program) and core. strategic goals for the district and synthesize to provide guidance for decision-making, adhering to all district, state, and grant requirements.
- Support district leadership in program and systems evaluations identifying strengths and weakness and recommending solutions for improvement.
- Provide regular and timely analyses to support data-driven decisions for instructional improvements.
- Communicate and summarize results of data analysis in written, oral, and visual form with all stakeholders including teachers, campus and district leadership, families, and board members.
- Work with district leaders to create data structures, systems, protocols, and tools that facilitate performance measurement and continuous improvement.
- Monitor progress of implementation by measuring outcomes, using predictive analytics to anticipate progress on district programs, grant project, and accountability measures.
- Work with district leaders to leverage pre-established systems to collect and manage databases ensuring data integrity for regular and timely analytical work.
- Work with district leadership to provide professional learning opportunities to support data-driven instruction and decision-making.
- Provide support for district leadership to ensure state, federal and grant compliance reports, records, and other required documents are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

The district contributes $400/monthly to the cost of "employee-only" health insurance which is $175/monthly greater than the state required amount of $225/monthly.
