Position: Summer Technology Intern (5 Positions Available)

Job Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required; college hours preferred
• Current enrollment in San Jacinto College IT courses preferred

Job Description:  Employing part time summer technology interns to perform PC/workstation support with technician and technology department supervision. This position may support district staff over the phone and in person with computer issues.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assisting users with day-to-day operating system and network problems
• Setting up local and network printers and troubleshoot printer issues
• Moving computers and other equipment to new desks and office areas
• Cleaning-up/setting-up work stations for uses
• Other duties as assigned

Assigment Details:

• Position to start the last week of May (May 26, 2020) 
• 40 day assignment; 8-hour days
• Specific dates to be determined by the Technology Department

Pay Grade: PC Technician Interns
                  $9.25/hour
