Elementary Principal 

Campus: La Porte Elementary

Direct and manage the instructional program and supervise operations at the campus level. Provide instructional leadership to ensure high standards of instructional service. Direct the implementation of district policies and instructional programs and manage the operation of all campus activities.

Serve as instructional leader, communicator of high expectations to students, staff and parents for student achievement, positive student behavior and collegial school climate.

Job Qualifications

• Master's Degree
• Texas Mid-Management or Principal Certificate
• Valid Texas teaching certificate
• ILT, ILD or AEL Certification
• T-TESS Certification

Experience

• Minimum of seven (7) years experience in education, to include at least three years of assistant principal experience or above required
• Minimum of three (3) years of successful elementary teaching experience required
• Internal candidates only
