Position: Substitute Maintenance Helper

Job Description:

Follow routine cleaning and general maintenance procedures to maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness and efficiency of building operations.

Experience: 

• Experience as an LPISD general maintenance environment preferred but not required OR
• Experience in a general maintenance environment preferred but not required

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum of 18 years of age
• GED/High School Diploma (preferred)
• Ability to read, write and understand written and verbal instructions for cleaning, maintenance and safety procedures

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Observe and shadow responsibilities of Maintenance Department staff
• Assist maintenance staff in maintaining and cleaning facilities in the district
• Adhere to Department dress code and procedure requirements

• Comply with District standards of professional conduct, policy and procedures

• Perform duties as assigned by the Maintenance Department

Pay:

$10.47/hour
